THE RULES, AS DEPLOYED
How it works
Everything below is enforced by the Waggle program on Solana (this site runs on devnet: short test timings, nothing of value). Program Waggdg85oHckHtGejJ9PiwGMB4ukNAYvTZAJ4yb9qxk. Internally reviewed, not audited.
The token
A launch is one instruction in one transaction, signed by you and by a fresh mint key made in your browser. It creates a Token-2022 mint with metadata only, a Meteora Dynamic Bonding Curve pool, the hive account and your optional first buy.
The mint has no mint, freeze or metadata-update authority and no transfer hook. Supply is 1,000,000,000 with 6 decimals, fixed forever. It trades like any Meteora token, in any terminal. The curve starts near 28 SOL market cap and graduates to a Meteora DAMM v2 pool near 420 SOL; that liquidity is locked forever.
The fee
The curve charges a flat 4% fee on every trade, in SOL. The creator side of it is claimed into the hive's comb — a program account with no private key. 71% of that stays owed to the token creator and is paid to their wallet; the rest moves straight into the one honeypot all hives share.
Nobody can take SOL out of the honeypot. The program only lets it buy a hive token back at a round's end.
The dance
The meadow runs in rounds of 1h. A hive's buzz in a round is the SOL volume traded on its pool, computed from the pool's own fee counter (fees ÷ fee rate), so trades from any terminal count.
A dance writes a hive's current buzz on-chain and updates the round's leader. Anyone may dance any hive (the keeper does it for every hive that traded, especially in the last minute). The hive that won the previous round rests: it cannot lead this round.
Sunset
When the round's time is up, the keeper settles it. If the honeypot holds at least 0.01 SOL, the whole honeypot buys the leading hive's token back on its pool and every bought token is burned. The winner rests the next round, and a new round begins.
The program checks the round is over and that the hive is the recorded leader; the keeper only sets the slippage limit from a fresh quote.
Levels
A hive's picture climbs with its market cap and never goes back down:
Retiring
A hive whose pool has seen no trade for 14 days can be retired by the admin: it stops dancing, its creator is paid what is owed, and the hive's accounts are closed (their rent goes back to the platform). The token itself keeps trading on Meteora.
If the platform winds down, it pauses launches and dances, drops whatever is left in the honeypot as one final buyback and burn on a hive, pays every creator and closes the hives.
